Mrs. Zachry was born April 9, 1958 in Roanoke, AL, daughter of Emory Ford Cavender and the late Virginia Mickle Cavender. She was a member of New Community Church and was employed with Florence Hand Nursing Home as a Registered Nurse.
Survivors in addition to her father, Emory Ford Cavender, include her son, John Zachry; and a brother, Dennis Cavender.
