Patricia L. Griffin

Ms. Griffin was born February 5, 1948 in New Albany, MS to the late Gaston Griffin and Callie D. Carter Griffin. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, where she was active in multiple church activities. Ms. Griffin was a member of Newcomers Club. She was passionate about educating young people, having retired from the Decatur Alabama School System as a lifelong elementary teacher.

Left to cherish her memory are longtime family friends, Stuart and Dana Countess and their children, Jac and Anna; Suzanne and Doug Cook and their children, Abbie and Turner; other relatives and close friends.

A Memorial service will be held 1:00pm Friday, December 8, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange with Rev. Jan Stewart Tolbert and Dr. Harry Barrow officiating. In lieu of flowers, it is respectfully requested that donations be made to West Georgia Hospice (1510 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240) in memory of Ms. Patricia L. Griffin.
