Mrs. Head was born September 1, 1944 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late A.C. Colson and Rachel Ann White Colson. She was a longtime member of Sonrise Baptist Church and was employed with Interface Flooring before retiring.
Survivors include her husband, Emmett Head; sister, Marie Nixon; children, James (Jamie) Marsh and Adarius Colson; grandchildren, Cody Marsh and John Terrell “JT” Marsh; and great grandchildren, Tristen Harris and Chance Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 4, 2021 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA with Rev. Charles Redmond officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her sister, Marie Nixon.
