In her final days on this earth, she was surrounded by love. Family and dear friends came to visit with her, pray with her, and remind her how deeply she was cherished.
Rhonda is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Terry Sellers. They did life together in every way, side-by-side, hand-in-hand, through every season. Rarely apart, they were known by their nephews and niece as “Rhonda-Terry,” a nickname that captured what everyone already knew — they were truly one.
Rhonda was born in Columbus, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Carol Campbell, who lovingly welcomed her at Heaven’s Gates. Proud parents reunited with their daughter once again.
Rhonda lived a life rooted in love as a devoted wife and mother. She could always be found at a ball field running the kids in every direction, all while creating a home that was warm, orderly, and full of love.
When the children were older, Rhonda returned to the full-time workforce, where she built a respected career with the Sherwin-Williams Company, serving in a management position. There she became affectionately known as the “Paint Lady.” She had a remarkable eye for color and an unmatched depth of knowledge. Rhonda left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with and served.
Cherishing her memory until reunited are her children, Belinda and Matthew Werley of Newnan, Georgia, and Ricky and Lynsey Sellers of Roanoke, Alabama. Mama was our constant, our steady rock, our safe place. We could always lean on her.
Rhonda’s legacy of love will also be remembered and cherished by her grandchildren who were so special to her: Kain, Kailyn, Zarek, Garrett, Charlee Ann, Wyatt, and Brooks — “Grandnana’s babies.”
Rhonda leaves behind her brothers who shared a lifetime of memories, love, and family bonds with her: Rodney Campbell of LaGrange, Georgia, and Jimmy (Linda) Campbell of Salem, Alabama. Known as Aunt “Ronna,” with great affection, she leaves to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews, for whom she always carried a special affection.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Dr. Pierce and the staff at Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, Haley and Catherine from Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, as well as Chaplain Tyler, who continue to lift Rhonda and her family in prayer. To all of you, your love and devotion is a true testament to the calling each of you embrace.
The celebration of Rhonda’s life and now being cancer-free will be held in the chapel at Striffler-Hamby in LaGrange, Georgia, on December 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with nephew Dr. Rex Campbell serving as officiating celebrant and provider of the eulogy.
The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Interment and final place of rest will be at Rest Lawn Memory Gardens on Moody Bridge Road in LaGrange, Georgia. The family invites all to proceed with them to the committal ceremony.
Finally, the family is deeply appreciative of all the love and prayers offered during Rhonda’s battle with cancer. The continued prayers for our family can be felt along with all the expressions of love and affection. We look forward to celebrating Rhonda’s life with you all.
All arrangements are made by Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 1010 Mooty Bridge Road, LaGrange, GA 30240 (706) 884-8636.
