Ronnie Burns

Ronnie was born February 1, 1947 in Gulfport, MS, son of the late Berris Wilson Burns and Maryanna Fulford Burns. He owned and operated Burns and Burns Trucking for many years. Ronnie attended St. Nicholas Episcopal Church in Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Burns of West Point; a son, Ron (Kelly) Burns of Hattiesburg, MS; a granddaughter, Kate Burns; a sister, Betty Jo Claypool of Chaparral, NM; two nephews, Ralph (Lita) Burns of Coer d’Alene, ID and James Anderson of Jackson, MS; and a niece, Movelyn Harris of Jackson, MS.

A service to celebrate the life of Ronnie Burns will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church (69 Mobley Rd., Hamilton, GA 31811) with the Reverend Jeff Jackson officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harris County (P.O. Box 264, Hamilton, GA 31811) in memory of Ronnie Burns.
