"Aunt Ruth was an awesome lady and she is going to be missed. I'm sure Heaven is different already with her there! She is probably chasing Uncle Charles around, and catching up on the news with her mom, Aunt Minnie, and so many more. I'm gonna miss her."

Remembering the special lady who was MawMaw Bailey as she taught us to be gracious by example. What a privilege to be included in her extended family and benefit from their generosity of spirit and love as we try to follow even the tiniest bit in her footsteps.

When I found out Cathy's Mawmaw passed away, I felt like I would miss her even though I only met her once. That might seem strange, but throughout the years I've known Cathy, she has entertained me with cute stories about her Mawmaw and it was clear how much she loved her. Whenever Cathy spoke of her Mawmaw there was a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Similar to the phrase, "to know her is to love her," "to know Cathy is to love her Mawmaw," because you just can't keep from letting that love rub off on you! I will be praying for peace and strength for your family. I know what a great loss this is and and I pray you will feel God's comfort in the coming days, weeks, months, and years.

Cindy...I will definitely miss her driving the golf cart through the neighborhood every halloween. Talked to her a few times, once I believe you guys were out of town and she was handling all the kids! You don't see too many grandmothers like that these days. Such a sweet and spunky spirit :) Love You, Vicky

MawMaw Bailey.....Oh how the Lawson Family loved her! She was a terrific woman who loved her family and friends...was faithful to her God and church...showed many how to live life to the fullest! She leaves a glorious legacy for everyone to bear witness. We were so fortunate to have her and Mr. Charles as adoptive grandparents. She will be missed by many!
