Ruth Eskell Blankenship Norris

Mrs. Norris was born October 10, 1926 in Parkin, AR, daughter of the late Rhul Blakenship and Daisey Rock Blakenship. She had lived in LaGrange most of her life and was a member of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Elliott Norris.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Cooper) McHugh and Kay Martin; grandchildren, Laura Hurt, Steve Martin, Davis McHugh, and Elliott McHugh; great grandchildren, David Lee Stevens, Derrick Stevens, Trevor Hurt, Lindsay Ann Hurt, Paisley Skye McHugh, Olivia Rainn McHugh, and Madison Martin; sisters, Jackie Persons, Kameta Soper, and Carolyn Youngblood; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Poplar Creek Assisted Living or Hospice LaGrange in memory of Mrs. Ruth Eskell Norris.
