

The daughter of the late William Avery Earles and Mary Belle Glen Earles, Sara was a woman of steadfast character and a longtime, dedicated member of Bethel Methodist Church.
Sara was known for her remarkable work ethic and a heart for helping others. She spent over 30 years as a loyal employee of BellSouth before embarking on a second career in Home Health. For 18 years, she provided compassionate care and comfort to those in need, truly embodying a spirit of service.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Benjamin Pepper, Jr., and her seven siblings: William Calvin Earles, Mary Lorene Earles Duffy, Glenn Lee Earles, LaMural Earles Moore, Frank D. Earles, Jean Earles, and Lena Earles Almon.
Sara is survived by her son, Walter Pepper, who will cherish the memory of her strength and kindness.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday May 2, 2026, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point Ga at 12:30 PM following the Gathering.
