Shirley G Smith

Shirley was born April 24, 1946, in Randolph County, AL, daughter of the late Arthur Green and Katie Bell Williams Green. She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church and had been attending Callaway Baptist Church with her son and family. She loved gardening, tending to her flower beds and going to church. Shirley cherished her family and time spent with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, husband, Charles Albert Smith and daughter, Susan Estes.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Tammy (John) Garcia; son, Terry (Shelly) Smith; daughter, Becky (Ken) McDowell; Daughter, Katie (Chris) Cofield; grandchildren, Brook (Justin) Williams, Dustin (Brittney) Cantrell, Chelsea (Taylor) Foster, Jessica Meeks (Kyle Duke), Bryant (Taylor) Meeks, Macey Garcia, Sierra (Derek) Vandiver, Chloe Garcia and Nathan Smith; several great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Goodson, Sandy Bruce, and Vickie Haws; brother, Bruce Green; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00pm in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
