Mr. Farrar was born January 21, 1951 in LaGrange, GA, son of Betty Charlene Browning Farrar and the late Henry Daniel Farrar. He worked for a number of years in Research and Development for Exxon Mobil and was a member of Callaway Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, woodworking, and he dearly loved his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patti Foster Farrar; daughter, Haley Farrar Luke and her husband, Buddy; son, Steven Foster Farrar and his wife, Jackie “Jack Rabbit” as Steve affectionately called her; grandson, Tydus Calvin Farrar; granddaughter, Darcy Jo Luke; mother, Betty Farrar Fountain; other relatives and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time, but will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to West Georgia Hospice in memory of Steve Farrar.
