Aunt Virginia was quite a colorful lady. She tried to help everybody she could. She was a great cook, a good friend. She always gave her all. She raised a great bunch of kids. I loved her and will miss her. I do know that at the end we will see each other again.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

         BEYOND THE BLUE 

Each gentle breeze, each sunset glow,
Each little raindrop here below,
Is but a part of God's great plan
And purpose in the life of man.

And sometimes when deep grief or care,
Is almost more than I can bear,
It seems so natural for me
To wonder why it had to be.

But deep within my heart I feel,
That in all things, time will reveal
The wisdom of His guiding hand;
And sometime I shall understand.

Remember

Nannie,this is Jodi I love you and I know you are far better off up there with the angels. I am glad I got the chance to show you that I could do right.YOU were my inspiration, I can't begin to tell you how much I do and will miss you. I love you Nannie, Mackenzie and Gavin love you; also my unborn one will know how great you were,and he will love you too.
