“Brother Bill”, as he was affectionately known, was born December 29, 1955 to the late William K. Jenkins, Sr. and Carolyn Pittman Jenkins. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pine Mountain. Bill was employed with First Peoples Bank as a Mortgage Banker.
He survived by his wife, Sheila Green Jenkins; son, Jason (Jay)William Jenkins; step daughters, Courtney and Megan Dixson; grandson, Phoenix Dixson; sister, Jane Jenkins Lawson; nephew, Rabe Lawson; other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pine Mountain City Cemetery with Reverend Joel Chapman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 110 Medical Dr. LaGrange, GA 30240.
