Thinking more about Bill, and our times together, I recalled something related to Psalm 23. Several years ago, I began to realize that I had a particular image associated with "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures." My private image of those "green pastures" is the memory of the pasture and the little brook down below Bill's parents' house. It was such a peaceful, beautiful place. Bill and I walked there often. This is to me a very nourishing memory. And so, for Bill, "surely goodness and mercy shall follow him, all the days of his life, and he shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever!

Bill was a wonderful friend. Especially when we were young, Bill and I spent a lot of time together, very much enjoying each other -- at church, in MYF, on the farm, with the old Model A, and with Helen's peach pie! Our deepest sympathy in his passing.
Much love to Jane and Patrick and David and Ann and Dee.
