Paw Paw was a wonderful grandfather. He was always talking about Jesus. I have several fun memories with Paw Paw. When I was little he took me and my brother cane pole fishing on the rocks. He loved fishing and we loved going with him. I remember just me and him going to the health food store to buy this tiny package of wheat bread and natural peanut butter. I don't know why, but it was so good! I remember every Christmas we would laugh at the funny gifts he got us. I know he meant well, but my favorite one was a Bart Simpson rain coat he gave me one year. I never wore it, but it has made us laugh for years thinking about it. When I was a kid I wasn't sure why he gave us the things he did at Christmas. He didn't give expensive gifts. Now, I know that the lessons we learned were more valuable than the gifts he could have given. We learned to be thankful. Thank you for the life lessons Paw Paw. We will miss you.

I have a lot of fond memories of "Uncle Bill".  I have a lot of childhood memories of staying in his home, fishing trips, and working for him as a teenager. He was a great mentor in my life. I am honored to be asked to speak at his funeral service. He will be missed by many!

I will never forget the times I spent with papa. Some in particular was when we would go to camp meeting and I would sit with him. He would always start talking to me and then Colleen would get on to him for talking during service. I spent a good bit of time with him growing up and he always had a different story to tell me. 

I am the daughter of JT Nelson  My memories of Mr Bill are mainly from my childhood. We visited several times at his big White House on what we called Main Street in LaGrange and sorry to say we gathered together at other family funerals 
Although, we were not socially close, my daddy has shared many fond memories of his uncle! One that stands out most is after the passing of Aaron Nelson, my grandfather, Bill took my dad under his wing so to speak by taking him to church. Daddy had an exciting first experience after a church service, by walking a young lady home afterwards which was orchestrated by his special uncle. 
My dad and his siblings all loved and looked up to Bill. 
When I called daddy to tell him of Bill passing, he cried and said, he has lived a long and good life and if anyone who knew him, Knows he will be waiting to meet us in heaven!

My favorite memory of Uncle Bill was when he took me riding on a motorcycle for my one and only time in my life. I felt safe with him. He was such a sweet kind-hearted man. I know he is in a better place. 

My favorite memories with paw paw are from when I was a kid and we would always go feed the ducks together. Paw paw always commented on how he loved my long hair and he’s a big reason I never wanted to cut it. I love you paw paw❤️

PawPaw Nelson always told his grandchildren about Jesus and Heaven. He would take us fishing and to Gospel singings. He and I would always sit and eat crackers with peanut butter and he’d talk about how good God was. I remember all the little red Bibles he owned that he’d pass out at parades and other places. He was loved by many and he will be missed.

I have so many memories.  I have been to hundreds of gospel singings with my dad.  Boy, did he love the Hinsons.  I dreamed the other night that he was listening to Kenny Hinson singing who is also in heaven now.

I met Bro. Bill due my grandparents taking me to church camp and his daughter Joy Nelson Holt becoming best of friends.   I recall he and my granddad driving cars to and from the sells.  But 1 of my fondest memories is he and Joy came to pick me up before camp and took us clothes shopping in a Limousin!!  He always had a smile that can't be forgotten.   He was an outstanding loving, caring husband and father and also a true Christian man.  I know he loved God and his family with all his heart. No more suffering and pain. He will be missed by all that knew him.  Heaven looks a whole lot sweeter since he has took his Heavenly Flight.  What a reunion he and my granddaddy is having today.  I can hear God tell him, "Job Well Done!!"  I will be keeping Joy and the family in my continuous prayers.🙏❤

So many wonderful memories with the Nelson/Rozell family.  I love each and every one of you with all my heart and praying for God to comfort each of you.  I know what it is to lose both parents. Only  God can fill that void. Bill will be greatly missed, but I know he is in a much better place and happier than he has ever been. I love y'all!
