He was born June 15, 1940, in LaGrange, GA to the late Clifford Allen Raiford and Jimmie Hazel Clark Raiford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Roselle Daughtrey and daughter, Cathy Raiford.
Billy was a retired auto worker for Ford Motor Company. He loved cars and everything pertaining to a good restoration project. He also loved old western movies. Outside of his family his next love would be his dog, Precious.
He is survived by his daughters, Cyndi Wiley and Linda (Donald) Bowles and son, Amos Tanner; grandchildren, Riley (Jennifer) Bowles, Ashley (Travis) Braswell, Joe (Ashley) Tanner and David Cobb; sixteen great grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Mausoleum of Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Ga.
