Ada adored her family and was the best wife and mother. Her family always did everything together including vacationing. She had a good sense of humor and never met a stranger. Ada loved to cook and was famous for her carrot cake. She enjoyed playing video games, listening to music such as the Eagles and other music during that time era. Ada was also an attendant of First Baptist Church of Cameron. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Ada is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret DeBow; granddaughter, Kyle Rose Dyson.
Those left to cherish her love and devotion are her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Lee Dyson Sr.; sons, Rodney Bush and wife Laurie of Abbeville, LA, Jimmy Lee Dyson Jr. of DeRidder, LA, Franklin " Frankie" Sonnier of Morehead City, NC; daughters, Nora Smith and husband Danny of Cameron, LA, Kimberly Haskins of Schulenburg, TX; brother, Kenneth Yohey and wife Carrie of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Regina "Ann" Armold of Mt. Joy, PA; thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2pm on Tuesday June 22, 2021 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles with a Memorial service starting at 3pm
