Agnes Fontenot Breaux, age 74, of Port Acres, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Agnes was born April 17, 1947 to Joseph Cursey Fontenot, Sr. and Mary Alice Janice Fontenot.

Agnes was a native of Elton, LA. where she learned the farm life from her parents and older siblings, growing crops and raising animals and livestock. She would later on in life meet and eventually marry Floyd John Breaux of Port Arthur, TX. on October, 30, 1969. When a opportunity for work moved them to Texas, Agnes began a career in the Port Neches School district cafeteria. She worked her way up to head cook and kitchen manager for the Port Neches Groves High School and after 17 years with the school district retired from her position. She absolutely loved the "cafeteria Ladies" she worked with and her job.
