He was born on April 24, 1963 to parents Alvin and Helen Istre in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
He was a native of Lake Charles and resident of Sulphur, LA. He was an active member of the Christian faith. Albert loved spending his time riding his bike, telling jokes, spending time with animals, and tinkering.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Helen Istre and his sister Donna Pickell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sara O’Banion of Rosepine, LA and Patricia Istre of DeRidder, LA; his brothers Kenny Istre of Ragley, LA and Dennis Istre of Ragley, LA; his sisters Gail Stahl of Ragley, LA and Becki Healey of Stuart, FL; along with 5 grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA.
