Alice Mae Lemelle

Born on December 18, 1937, in Plaisance, Louisiana, Alice was lovingly known to many as Dolly. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life centered around faith, family, and love.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Lemelle, her son; Don Lemelle, and parents; Carlton and Alice Guillory.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons; Ronnie Lemelle and wife Vanessa, and James Lemelle and wife Cheryl; along with 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A dedicated homemaker, Dolly was the heart of her family. She was a true warrior—keeping her loved ones together, providing strength through life’s challenges, and ensuring that her family had everything they needed to succeed. Her legacy of love, resilience, and devotion will live on through all who knew her.

Cremation has been entrusted to J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
