

Ann Elise Holcombe went to join her lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 10, 2026. She leaves behind her loving family, her sister Holly Holcombe Strapulos, her brother-in-law-George Strapulos, and her brother Richard Gordon Holcombe III. Many relatives and friends from Texas, Louisiana, Oregon, and California are included.
Ann was a graduate of St. Charles Academy High School, McNeese State University with honors in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She went on to LSU in Baton Rouge, La. to earn her Masters Degree in French and Fine Art. Ann worked in New Orleans, La. at Sutton Galleries and then moved to San Francisco co-managing a renowned Fine Arts Gallery under the tutelage of Mr. Emmanuel Navon.
Throughout her life, Ann loved to travel to far away places. These places included Australia, Mexico, the Orient, and Europe. She also loved water skiing and swimming.
Her love of elderly people in her life which included her parents was most endearing. She enjoyed visiting & reading to them and took care of them when they were ill. Ann also loved to give special treats to friends and workers with families. She always remembered birthdays of her family and close friends.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home, Chapel of Lilies Friday, June 26, 2026 from 10am until time of memorial service at 11am. Inurnment of ashes will follow at Orange Grove Cemetery.
Now Ann is at peace with Her lord. May the lord Bless all who are left behind.
