She was an avid reader and enjoyed books of all genres. Anna enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends. She first starting working at Pete's Gift Shop as a teenager, she then worked for Calcasieu Marine Bank. After the Calcasieu Marine Bank, Anna worked as a Cafeteria Manager for the Diocese of Lake Charles Food Service. For the last 13 years, she worked at the CCOA Bingo Hall. Anna was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and friend who is already deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jacob Powell; sisters, Claudia (Skipper) Bushnell, Mary (James) Foreman, Margaret Sebren, Rose LeBoeuf, Lillian Bumgarden; nephews, Ronnie (Missy) Bushnell, and Mike (Suzanne) Bushnell; niece, Tracie (Danny) Kadlubar; great-nieces, Brittany (Raphael) Zahm, Gabby and Ally Kadlubar, and Sarah Bushnell; great-nephew, Michael Bushnell; great-great-niece, Ava Bertrand; and great-great-nephews, Enzo Zahm and one on the way.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Edward "Buddy" LeBoeuf; brother-in-law, Ray Bumgarden; and her parents, Walter and Theresa LeBoeuf.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles, on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the Rosary that will be prayed at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will resume until the Mass of Christian Burial, led by Monsignor Jace Eskind, held at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial.
