Anne Collette

Born on July 1, 1953, in Lake Charles, Anne was a proud graduate of McNeese State University. She loved giving back to her community and dedicated much of her time and energy to supporting and improving the city she called home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Allan Collette, Jr and Anna Dean Connell Collette and her brother, Donald Allan Collette, III.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Michael Paul Collette and wife, Laura Dees Collette, and grandson David Michael Collette, her sister, Allyson Collette Nixon and brother, Hugh Connell Collette, nieces Sophia Augustin Collette and Catherine Eileen Collette, nephews, Nicholas Lowery Nixon, Stewart Allan Nixon, Matthew Joseph Nixon, Hunter Connell Collette, Cameron Connell Collette, Noah Allan Collette, Max Colin Collette and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will welcome the public for visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace, Friday, August 29, 2025 from 9am until time of memorial service at 10am.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Abraham's Tent in Anne's memory.
