She was born to her late parents, Edras and Camellia Theriot in Grand Chenier, LA on August 10, 1925. In her younger years, she worked at the Trosclaires Canning Factory in Cameron. She worked at South Cameron Hospital as a cook. She loved to sew and crochet, bake pies, travel, and loved going out to eat with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing Rummy with the family on Sundays. Pete enjoyed going to church regularly and was a devout Catholic. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her five daughters, Emma Miller and husband, Clifford Fontenot of Cameron; Barbara LeBoeuf of Sulphur; Marianna Benoit of Lake Charles; Judy Conerly and husband, Don of Poplarville, MS; Sandra Gail Boudreaux of Cameron; one sister, Lucille “Gic” Miller of Hayes; 10 grandchildren, Gerard, Tod, George, Medina, Kathy, Melissa, Archie, Angela, Dusty, Amanda; 24 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; along with a hosts of nieces and nephews.
Pete is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Arceneaux Boudreaux; two brothers, Enos “Jack” Theriot, Wilbert “Brother” Broussard; along with one sister, Letha “Toot” Mae Savoie.
Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Creole on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00am with Father Babasino Fernandes officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm with a Rosary by the Catholic Daughters at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, from 8:00am until the procession to the church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Creole.
