My daughter Chesney and I loved Chance. We just spoke to him a few days prior. He wanted to tour with Chesney and be her hair and makeup person and travel with us as we toured the US making music. We told him when we started to tour we’d let him know. He was fun to be around. We was always kind to us-and everyone around us. I have a son ( we are from Sweetlake) that lost his life as well so I was always happy to talk to Chance. We took the news of his passing hard.
May God be with his family. It’s going to be tough. You guys are in our daily thoughts and prayers!

Sweet, courageous Chance, I remember how you took me under your wing and helped me get through spells of anxiety at work. Your genuine care for others, your creative spark, your sense of humor made you a joy to be around. You’ve made an impact with the time you had, and you will be remembered with love.

I can still remember that wonderful laugh and all the hilarious jokes, but the most I miss was those big warm hugs. Chance you always made me feel safe and always kept a smile on my face. All the late night drives with the radio turned as loud as we could and acting like fools with no cares in the world. Those were the best days I will always cherish. I'm sure going to miss you so much. You will always be my favorite but forever prom date and best friend. Fly high handsome!

To the family of Chance Savoie. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you on the loss of your loved one. My daughter Shetaura and Chance were friends and graduated together and she was so heartbroken when she heard the news. R.I.P. Chance.🙏🏾🙏🏾

I have many memories of both elementary and high school with Chance. I do not have one single memory of him being unkind to anyone. We sometimes carpooled our senior year and had so many talks about life, and what we wanted from it. I have been thinking about those conversations and trying to see it through the eyes of my adult self now. We certainly thought we had it all figured out at that age. I never could have imagined this happening then. I know he has found the peace and happiness that had eluded him in life. I pray for his family to one day find peace. A quote that comes to mind is, “Grief is just love with no place to go.” I know they will grieve immensely, because they loved him immensely. I’m so very sorry for your loss.

I will miss you my friend. You were strong in ways you never knew and when you loved someone it was with your whole heart. I will never forget all the times we hung out or just our random sporadic trips. You were an amazing hairstylist and one of the best people I knew. This world won't be the same without you, but I am glad that you finally found your peace. ❤

Miss Chance is what I always called you , I hope you are at peace my friend and I pray your family is okay. I will always remember you dancing and singing and being so kind to everyone. You changed my life when you turned me into a blonde bombshell 11 years ago lol, I will always think of you when I listen to Lil Wayne- something we did together. I love you and I’m sorry I didn’t know you were hurting. Your soul was ,and always will be, beautiful. Rest In Peace
