Lake Charles- Charles J. Leveque, 88 passed away, January 11, 2012 in a local hospital.
He was a graduate of Landry Memorial High School and McNeese State University. He was an avid reader and loved music and photography. He was a member of the Sons of Confederacy and a volunteer at St Patrick Hospital.
Survivors include sons, Charles E. Leveque and wife Vickie of Westlake, John J. Leveque and wife, Janet of Lake Charles and Stephen L. Leveque of San Leon, TX; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Leveque; daughter, Connie Marie Leveque; brother, Eugene J. Leveque.
His funeral will be 1pm, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Lake Charles. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at, Saturday, 10am until service time. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
