Cherry loved spending time with her precious grandchildren, family and friends. She also enjoyed bowling and card games. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Cardinal and wife, Carla of League City, TX and daughter, Monica Lyon and husband, Mark of Carencro, LA; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Cardinal; her mother, Elsie Ardoin; her son, Michael Cardinal and grandson, Kane Cardinal.
Her funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, October 9, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Father Trouille will officiate. Visitation will be from 9am until service time with a rosary at 12noon in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.
