She was born on September 14, 1965, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She had a kind heart, a joyful spirit, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Paul Montminy; her father, Samuel Delgado of Decatur, IL; her mother, Mary Sensat of Lake Charles; her daughter, Alisha Manuel; her son, Nelson Manuel; and her cherished grandsons, Carsyn Lane, Talen Menard, and Brody Lane. She is also survived by her brothers, Sammi Delgado and wife Lisa, and Thomas Hagar; her sisters, Cricket Thomason and husband Buck, and Linda Lanning; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Connie loved traveling with her beloved husband, Paul, and she found joy in her working out at Dynamic Dimensions and at the tanning salon. She adored her dog, Miley, and her chicken, Blacky, who brought her endless happiness.
Connie’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will forever be remembered with love.
The family will welcome the public for a memorial visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home Chapel of Lilies Saturday, September 27, 2027 from 9am to 11am. A celebration of life memorial service will begin at 11am.
