

SULPHUR- Curtis David Stevens, 66, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital.
He was born in Morgan City, LA but came to Cameron, LA prior to moving to Sulphur, LA. He worked as a commercial fisherman and as a crew boat captain. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.
Survivor include his wife, Glenda Stevens of Sulphur, LA and his mother Ruth Conner of Sulphur, LA; two sons Curtis Stevens II of Westlake, LA and Alvin Stevens of Moss Bluff, LA; two daughters, Misty Lynn Butts of Dequincy, LA and Tammy Lynn Tuttle of Raeford, NC. Curtis also has sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren and seven step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Ronald Numa Stevens.
His Visitation will be 10:00am-2:00pm, Friday September 5, 2014 with a Rosary at 1:00pm. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Friday September 5, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA.
