Cynthia Seamons Primeaux

Cynthia “Cyndi” Ann Primeaux (Seamons), 64, of Grand Lake, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Christus Oschner St. Patrick Hospital. Cyndi was born on January 6, 1957 in Lake Charles to the late Donald and Thelma Seamons. She was preceded in death by her brother Roger Seamons, Sr. of Lake Charles. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her husband, Patrick Primeaux, her daughter Christian Abshire of Big Flats, NY, her granddaughter Emmalynn LeBrun of Big Flats, NY, and her sister Grace Robideaux of Grand Lake. Cyndi graduated from Grand Lake High School in 1976. She attended Demmon’s School of Beauty in Lake Charles and worked as a stylist at Jackie’s Hair Styling in Lake Charles. After her position as a stylist, she began work as a stay-at-home mother. Cyndi had an intense love for cooking, which she got from her mother Thelma. She would spend hours in her kitchen making delicious Southern meals. She also had a deep love for all things LSU and any type of football. Family was especially important to Cyndi. She loved being MawMaw to her grandbaby Emmalynn. Cyndi will be missed by so many. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. All services will be held at Hixson’s Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Pastor George Rodriguez of Vineyard Church Lake Charles will officiate. Burial will follow at Sweet Lake Grand Lake Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derrick Robideaux, Grant Robideaux, Roger Seamons, Jr., Mark Abshire, Joe Wolfe, and Ryan King.
