and the late Rebecca Ann Walker.
She was the youngest of four siblings and was definitely the fiery one out of them all. Danielle was known to always say what was on her mind no matter the place, time and to who it was. She will be remembered as the light in her family and friend's life.
Danielle was known to laugh anywhere she went and it would always become infectious. If you knew her, you'd know that sitting next to Danielle would get you trouble for laughing and you could count on it happening every time.
After graduating from Alfred M. Barbe High School in 2006, Danielle attended SOWELA Technical College for nursing and graduated in the Fall of 2022 as an LPN. She absolutely loved her profession and aspired to grow which gave her a goal to become an RN one day.
Danielle had a strong personal relationship with God and became a member of Christian Baptist Church. Her attendance and fellowship here enabled her to grow her faith as she navigated life with her precious children whom she adored with every bit of her love. Danielle was always willing to do for her sons, even if it meant her going without to give to them.
She had a love for Christopher Maurice Brown and Michael Bakari Jordan and was an active member of their fan clubs! Danielle was known to have special relationships with people including her nieces and friends and you'd always hear her talking about each of them. Her best friend was Audrianna Coleman which was her personal stylist and Danielle was present in every area of her life.
Those left to cherish her legacy are her two handsome sons; JeVaun Ramsey and Denver Jerome;
father, Lyman Walker III and wife Rachel; siblings, Corey Walker and wife Tiffanie, Lyman Walker IV,
Richelle Bonvillain, Brittany Walker, Andre Walker, Donovan McKay and Dylan McKay; nieces and
nephews; Caleb, Joshua, Gabrielle, Shaylen, Selah, Sage and Karlie; maternal grandmother, Emma Deville; aunts, Lessie Deville and Amanda Hartley; and uncles, Wyman Deville and Ramsey Deville.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Ann Walker; maternal grandfather, Ramsey DeVille; paternal grandmother, Joyce Walker Bonvillain and aunt, Mary Jane DeVille.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, January 19, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
