Dean C. Davidson

He was born in Glenwood, MN and lived in Lake Charles. He retired after 20 years of service with the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He also retired from Citgo and also worked for Securitas. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, working at the church and watching Fox News.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Garrard Davidson of Lake Charles; son, Duane Davidson of Columbus, OH; daughter, Mary Davidson of Columbus, OH; step-sons, Shannon Keith Carlson of Dallas, TX and Clayton Ray Carlson of Lake Charles; brothers, Rick Davidson of Glenwood MN, Dennis Davidson of St. Paul Minneapolis, MN, Lynn Davidson of Moose Lake, MN and Jerry Davidson of TX; grandchildren, Randa Davidson, JC Davidson, Paul Michael Davidson, Kara Carlson and Miya Carlson.

His funeral will be 11am, Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Tim Norris and Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate. Visitation will begin Tuesday 4pm-8pm and resume Wednesday 8am until service time. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
