

Liz was born December 25, 1929 in Lake Charles, LA, to Moise and Ella Thibodeaux Meche. Her family meant the world to her, Cajun music was her passion and she was strong in her faith.
Liz was preceded in death by both parents, two husbands; Heulin Vidrine and Jeffries LeJeune Sr., four brothers; Theogene Meche, Eugene Meche, Eddie Meche and Clayton Meche, four sisters; Janie Cormier, Rita Aucoin, Evelyn Pounthieaux and Bernice Babineaux, two grandchildren; Troy Cormier and Francis Vidrine.
She is survived by her husband; Donald who she married on November 11, 2000, three sons; Kelly Vidrine of Sulphur, Walter Vidrine (Rachael) of Broussard, LA., Jeffries LeJeune Jr. of Lake Charles, two step sons; Donald R. Perry (Peggy) of Houston, Danny Perry (Darla) of Sulphur. One daughter; Shirlene Vidrine Clark (Richard) of Lake Charles, two step-daughters, Cathy Surcouf of Sulphur and Patti Ellender (Bryant) of Sulphur, two brothers; Ernest Meche (Ida) of Lake Charles, and Theophile Meche (Gerda) of Lake Charles, two grandchildren; Joanie Johnson Dowd and Brandy Vidrine Stine, fourteen step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eleven step great- grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and her dear friend Hazel Manuel of Lake Charles.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home and will resume on Wednesday from 12:00pm until time of service.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
