Eve Hair

She was born in Mamou, Louisiana but has lived most of her life in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed being involved in the churches’ social events. Eve also enjoyed playing board games and spending time with family. Eve worked at Chennault Air Base as a seamstress and later she did alterations from her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings also by her daughter Norma Moon and son-in-law James Moon Sr. Her survivors include her grandchildren; Jay Moon and his wife Julie of Lake Charles and Pamela Cox of Moss Bluff, her great grandchildren; Jason Moon, Paris Chiasson and her husband Chris also her great great – granddaughter; Brianna Chaisson.

Her Visitation will be from 9:00am until service on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Funeral will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11:00am at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Louisiana with Bro. John Flemming officiating. Her burial will be at Prien Memorial Park. A special thank you to the firemen at the 18th and Creole St firehouse, that watched over her all these years.
