Feliciano B Ferrer, age 94, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Houston, Texas. He was born on March 5, 1930 to Severo and Lourdes Ferrer in UPI, Cotabato, Philippines.
Feliciano and Rebecca and family immigrated to the United States in 1972. After moving several times settled in Lake Charles, LA in 1976. While in the Philippines, he worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative. In Lake Charles he worked for Wizard Enterprises and F&F Wireline as an office manager, accounting and IT. His favorite hobbies included building computers, listening to classical music, working in the yard and enjoying all of his grandchildren's many activities up to his recent illness. He also loved to cook his families' favorite meals when they visited.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Ralph Ferrer and wife Lydia and Fiel Ferrer Rimlinger; grandchildren, Kaleb Ferrer and wife Natz, Madeline Ferrer, Chloe Ferrer, Kathryn Ferrer, Emilie Rimlinger Going and husband Jacob, and Jacob Rimlinger; brother, Emmanuel Ferrer; and sisters, Aurora Ferrer Tiongson and Estrella Ferrer Reodica.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 48 years, Rebecca Pangan Ferrer; brothers, Domingo Ferrer and Severo Ferrer, Jr.; and sisters, Gloria Ferrer Cabotaje and Trinidad Ferrer Imbing.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Eulogy. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
