George "Kenny" Kenneth Cruze

Kenny was a resident for most of his life in Lake Charles. He was a proud long distance truck driver and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He drove cross country to almost every state in the United States.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amy Cruze Hernandez and husband Jay; two grandchildren, Mia and Cruze Hernandez; siblings, Donald Cruze and wife Carolyn, Joanne Manuel and husband Freddie, Marlin Falcon, and Tommie Phillips; and a host of loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Cruze; wife of 35 years, Diana Lois Anselem Cruze; and brother, Marcus Cruze.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Brookdale Assisted Living of Lake Charles and High Hope Care Center, especially Randy Stelly and Austin Broussard and their staff for their compassionate and dedicated care to Mr. Cruze.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Monday, July 6, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 11:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial at Pine Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Josh Page with Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church will officiate at the services.
