

Mina was born in Mexico City, Mexico and was a resident of Lake Charles. She was a woman of incredible faith; a devout Catholic and parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She lived her life devoted to God and her family. She was loved by all who knew her and was known to all for her kind, loving, and generous spirit. She will live on in all our hearts.
Those left to cherish her precious memory are her daughter, Laura Blanchette of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Laura Michelle Myers-Schader, Sasha Marie Myers, and Jennifer Nicole Myers; four great-grandchildren, Nola Elena Schader, Jaidyn Alyssa Savant, Finley Grey Myers, and Eiley Mina Quinn Lavergne; one brother, Jorge Ramirez Nava of Mexico City, Mexico; four sisters, Josefina Ramirez Nava of Lake Charles, Maria de los Angeles Ramirez Nava, Raquel Ramirez Nava, and Graciela Ramirez Nava as well as her surviving family in Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Cropper and parents, Carlos and Josefina Ramirez; two sisters, Guadalupe and Eva Ramirez Nava.
A Memorial Service will be at 4pm Monday, March 31, in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation is from 3-4pm Monday in the funeral home. Father John Huckaby will officiate. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
