Helen Daigle Poole

She was born in Lake Charles and lived in Big Lake. She was a member of Big Lake Tabernacle. She loved working in her yard and her dogs. She also was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Maison de Lafayette and her doctors, Dr.Charles Dugal and Dr. Richard Landry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Poole; son, Erivn Poole; brother, Joe Daigle.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Poole of Big Lake; daughters, Judy Poole Chiasson of Lake Charles and Diane Poole Hebert of Abbeville; 8 grandchildren.

Her service will be 11am, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin Wednesday 5pm-9pm, and resume Thursday 8am until service time. Pallbearers will be Jason Breaux, Lance Chiasson, Shawn Breaux, Mitch McGee, Steven Broussard and Amanda Broussard. Burial will be in Grand Lake Cemetery.
