I have a lot of great memories of Uncle Herman. The few times that he was getting me out of trouble and many more when he was getting me into trouble. A lot of watermelons and cantaloupes from Papa Brown's farm were eaten.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the family.

I remember being in the kitchen with him when he was making duck. He kept trying to convince me I liked it which I didn’t! He was so funny telling me now Shelby , try it again! I ate it to make him happy!
