

He was born March 12, 1928 in Welsh, LA to Theophile and Clarice Mott. He married JoAnn Mouton on July 30, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Eldine Mallett and Velma Mott and one brother, Cliff Mott.
Surviving is his wife JoAnn of Lake Charles, one brother, Nelson Matt of Iowa, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Isaac served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge. He worked as an Air Conditioning Technician with Moreno Air Conditioning for many years. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and a life member of the V.F.W. Post 2130, American Legion Post 1 and a member of the D.A.V. all in Lake Charles.
He enjoyed fishing, shrimping, collecting pens and hats. He loved the Saints, Harley Motorcycles and spending time with his wife, nieces, nephews and extended family.
A funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 20, 2014 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. Father Jeffery Starkovich will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home Lake Charles with a rosary at 5p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home at 9:00 am until the start of service. Burial will follow the service at Consolata Cemetery.
