He was a US Naval Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He is survived by his sons, COL.( Ret.) Raymond Clark and wife, Barbara of Sugar Land, TX, Deacon Jerry Clark and wife, Kathy of Kenner, LA, David Clark and wife,Tammy of Lake Charles, Michael Clark and wife, Karen of Lake Charles, LA and Reverend Father James M. Clark Jr. of Memphis, TN; sister, Connie Mills of Charleston, SC; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:30pm, Friday, October 26, 2012 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Sulphur. Reverend Father James M. Clark Jr. will officiate. Visitation will begin Thursday from 4pm-8pm with a rosary at 7pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles and resume Friday 8am until service time. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park.
