May 21...today was your birthday. I thought of you often today. The pumpkin that you threw in compost pile is now growing a huge vine. Memories of you in the garden, digging and weeding. James, I miss and love you.

James, the roses (and weeds) in the flower bed are getting new growth from all that fertilizer you socked to them.  A sago palm seed has sprouted along with the two avocado seeds that you repotted with the squirrel teeth marks. LOL....I miss you...Maxine

I know you will wrap your arms around the young friends my sons have lost recently. Cherish them, like family. Our hearts hurt, so much loss in our hearts. You Jim, William, Rosemary, Tyler, and Brad. I asked Melinda, you think Rosemary will know Jim, and she said No doubt. Shine your light this way Jim.

I'm constantly remembering something that you did to make us all laugh, those moments will be with me forever, as will you uncle Jim.

It absolutley true uncle james, I can go no where in this beautiful city without you in my mind and in my heart. You opened my mind to all things intriguing and deserving of appreciation. James Your family in Seattle loves.you very much. Josh told.me he thinks of you every time he is out walking downtown. Same here. Every time i am near Volunteer Park and the conservatory, you are with me. I can not work in the yard that I don't think of you. I still brag of your gardening talent, and your art that is unique as you. Memories of you are cherished by us all here.

Not a day will go by that I won't think of you. I will so miss your early morning calls and how you made me smile each morning before my face was even awake. I will always love you.

James, little brother. Our time spent together this past six months was a joy to me. Our digging in the garden and garage sales topped the list. Boy did you have a zeal for life like no other. Your laughing at my wind swept hair made me mad until you said something stupid which forced  me to laugh. Our generation gap was wide so we did not agree on a lot of topics but you told me to get over it or "just shake it off." I cant shake off loosing you. My heart aches and I cannot focus through the tears. I love you, little brother.
