Jennifer Lynne Hebert-Odom, daughter of Wallace ray Hebert Sr. And Janis Gotreaux Hebert was truly a daughter from heaven. Jennifer enjoyed travel and family. Most of all she loved people. Her passion was in helping others. She graduated from McNeese State university and was a Registered Nurse. We know she was met in heaven by her father Wallace ray Hebert sr. and her brother Edward. Her final goodbye was her first breath with Jesus. What a beautiful reunion. Jennifer will best be remembered for her sweet spirit. She always saw the best in everyone. She found a kind word or compliment for all she came in contact with. She loved the Lord and found comfort in her work as she cared for others. She was always an advocate for those who could not speak for themselves. Jennifer touched many lives in her short life. The Hebert family wishes to thank all who have reached out via telephone, email and in person. We thank Hixson funeral home and the staff for the extraordinary help in preparing her for a final goodbye- --see you later. The family will have a private memorial service. Friends of Jennifer are encouraged to make a donation to their favorite charity or animal rescue in her name. She was an avid pet lover. For all who love her, we find comfort in the knowledge that Jennifer was received by our father, Jesus Christ with whom she gave her heart as a young child. Thank you all for your kindness as we continue to heal from this loss.
