He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Edith Large Fruge; daughters, Rena Williamson and Jeanice Boyd (David); grandsons, Bryce Williamson (Bri) and Derek Boyd; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Mary Lou Fruge.
Jerry loved to go out on the water and fish. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and playing the drums. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Jerry retired from DOTD for the State of Louisiana after 25 years as an Electrical Supervisor.
