Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Denise Hebert; sister, Davene Roberts; brother, David Roberts; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Roberts and Fayrene Mayo Roberts, and his sister, Bernice Roberts Pellegrin.
A proud graduate of Lake Charles High School, Class of 1970, John went on to earn an associate degree in Drafting from Sowela Technical Community College.
John had a deep love for fishing and shared a special bond with his beloved cats and dogs. His quiet strength, gentle nature, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has been entrusted to J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home.
