Johnny Hammond, 61, passed away May 30, 2018 at his residence in LeBleu Settlement.

He was born in Lake Charles. He worked for Lyon’s Flying Service. Johnny enjoyed repairing equipment and he had a special talent for repairing anything that broke. He was an avid comic book collector and his family and friends thought of him as a True Superman.

Johnny is survived by sons; Jonathan Deshotel of Sulphur, Cody Doucet of Lake Charles, daughter, Emily Hammond of Lake Charles, brothers, Joe Hammond and Bobby Hammond of LeBleu Settlement and thirteen grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Bertha Hammond; sister, Sandra Gail Trahan.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Monday, June 4, 2018 from 9am until time of service. Funeral service will be at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel at 11am Monday, June 4, 2018. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
