Josefina Ramirez Parrish, age 83, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. She was born September 7, 1938 in Mexico City, Mexico and a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, La.
Josefina was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir. She was a homemaker and loved meeting and talking to friends. Josefina enjoyed gardening, cooking for friends and her family.
Josefina is preceded in death by her Husband, William S. Parrish, Sisters, Eva, Raquel, Guillermina, Guadalupe and a Brother, Carlos.
She is survived by her Brother, Jorge Ramirez of Celaya, Mexico, and Sisters, Graciela Ramirez Nava of Aguascalientes, Mexico, Angeles Ramirez Nava, Mexico City, Mexico, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 5, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Rosary at 10:30 AM. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon Josh Page officiating. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Interment of Ashes will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Consolata Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. Daniel Torres presiding.
