Joyce worked as a court reporter and a notary. She was especially proud to be a devoted Catholic her entire life. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Community Prayer Group, and Ladies Alter Society. She loved dancing, playing bingo, cards and bean bag baseball. Her last year of life was at the Lake Charles Care center where she was loved by all the residents, nurses, and staff, along with all her friends and family that would come to visit her. Joyce was so sweet and loving, cherishing every one of her friendships.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton E. Webster, her parents, and all her siblings.
Joyce had five children, numerous grandchildren, and great children. Her memory will be cherished by close family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with a Eulogy beginning at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026 at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home, 3001 Ryan St., Lake Charles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church with Rev. Keith Pellerin officiating. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Hixson Funeral Home.
