Juanita Bertrand Jones

She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and was of the Catholic Faith. She was a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Dwayne Jones of Sulphur, Donnette Jones of Lake Chalres, Nicholas Jones of Sulphur; sisters, Velma Chauvin of Lake Charles, Loretta Shoemake and husband Cliff of Lake Charles, Jeanelle Vincent and husband, Nolan of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Kallista Dunn of Lake Charles, Trinity Bergeron of Welsh, Ashlyn Gregory of Norman, OK, Cassidy Jones of Sulphur and Brock Jones of Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Jones; her parents, Eddie and Gertrude Bertrand; son, Jodey Jones and her brother, Eddie Bertrand Jr.

Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 3-9 p.m. with rosary prayed at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
