Shandra this is Avelina's cousin Gail, I knew your dad from seeing him at her house and at LCMH, My husband and I will surely miss seeing him and talking to him. Also Mr. Edgar the guy that brings the pharmaceuticals to LCMH ask me to tell you that Mr. Keith was part of his family too and he will miss him very much. Shanda, I was married to your dad's second cousin, Wayne Marceaux, for a while, and I'd see your dad often in the cafeteria throughout the years when I worked at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.  He always recognized me and I never saw him without a smile on his face. He was such a sweet, sweet man.  I'm blessed to have crossed paths with him while on this earth.  Praying for you and the rest of your family that you could feel God's presence carrying you through this time, and may he grant you a peace that passes all understanding now and in the days ahead. I never met him..but have always seen him walking to church in his suit..he did not know me...but always stopped to smile and wave..I surely missed the smile and wave today...

Oh daddy, how I will miss you so!! All our card games that lasted way past your bed time, your beautiful smiling face that never seemed to grow old,  your quirky jokes I loved ,so many memories I will cherish. You were truly an angel here on this earth and I praise God for lending you to us for the years we had with you. We were all so blessed by your presence and spirit. You are so happy with your Lord and Savior now which gives me such peace. I've always been so proud to be your daughter and love you so very much. I know Uncle Keith is beyond happy to be with his savior Jesus Christ! He was such a peaceful, kind man. Such a joy to be around! I'll miss all our card games but most of all we will all miss your warm smile. I am honored to have been a part of your life. I love and miss you Uncle Keith. Fly high sweet Angel!

I live in the area of LCMH and have for over 40 years. I know I have seen Mr. Keith walking in this area for over 30 of those years. He always had a smile and a wave for everyone.  One day, I rolled my window down and asked him his name and introduced myself and told him how much I admired his spirit. I know I would see him 2 or 3 times a week somewhere and he always had a wave and a smile. Mr. Keith, you touched a lot of hearts in your lifetime by your courage and determination to keep on keeping on. RIP my friend.

I will forever miss his waves when I'm in the work truck and on the way home. I met him at the dollar store last year and he was very kind hearted. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends that loved him. May Keith RIP with the angels now.

I pray for peace and comfort from the good Lord for the Broussard family. I also pray for all of those who will miss Keith's smiles and encouraging words each day!  We don't stop and realize how much a person can affect our day just with a bright smile and a pleasant word. Lord, may we learn from Keith's selfless example and pass on smiles and bright hellos that we might ALSO positively affect other lives. He was obedient to "Let your light so shine..." We know he is now fully restored in body and mind, rejoicing and praising the Lord in Heaven with our other brothers and sisters that God has called before us and that we will see again one day. Hallelujah to the Lamb!

We all will miss his smile and the big hello he gave eveyone around him at LCMH,so sorry to hear of his passing.God has a special place for him in heaven. He and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I first met Mr. Keith about 5 yrs. ago and saw him on a daily basis at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. He was truly one of a kind and touched all of our lives in such a special way. He will be greatly missed.

Just as much as Mr. Keith brought brightness to our days--everyday at LCMH, today was quite the opposite as we learned of his passing.  Instead of his endearing smile & happy "hello", a state of shock & sadness filled our hearts.  With HIS empty table as a reminder of his absence, our work family mourned & immediately missed the presence of our dear friend.  It was a blessing & a privilege to share a moment of any part of our day with this kind man among us.  His pleasant demeanor & unwavering perseverance, despite his obvious personal struggles, were a constant reminder of gratitude, humility & motivation for me.  Words alone can't stress enough, how much this man was admired.  I know that I speak for all of us at LCMH when I say that we will miss him deeply.

Mr. Keith always had the nicest smile and he spoke to everyone. We will miss seeing his face and smile at LCMH. He was a part of the LCMH family.

Such a wonderful man that could brighten anyone's day just by seeing his contagious smile!!! He was a part of the LCMH family and will be greatly missed!

My sincere condolences to Mr Broussard's family. He sure did brighten many of our days at  LC Memorial Hospital. He will be missed. Sweet man. RIP.

Everyone  at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital enjoyed seeing Mr. Keith everday. He was a genuinely nice &happy man. He brightened our days every day. He was truly special &will always be remembered.  I can't tell you how many people were truly affected by his passing. He was one of a kind.
