I was so sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I just ran into him on Nov 14th. I am very glad I got the chance to catch up with him at that time. I worked with Larry at BP for many years. He was a pleasure to work with. Keeping his family in my prayers and may he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Larry for three years at BP. He helped show me the ropes when I joined the team and was always a supportive and encouraging coworker. I also loved when he would regale us with stories from the “good ol’ days” of BP Amoco.
One of my favorite memories of Larry was when I brought a rubber snake into the office. 😛 I planted the snake in his cubicle several times, and the whole floor could hear his reaction each time he found it. He provided the whole team a lot of laughs that week and was of course a good sport about the whole thing.
You were a great man and a great friend Larry, and you will be missed.

Nancy, Linda and the Hensley family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Larry from LCHS as big brother to Nancy and Linda. My heart goes out to all of you, and I hope your memories will comfort you during this difficult time. You will all be in my prayers.

We have both known Larry for close to 40 years, going back to the Amoco days in the Lake Charles district office. He was a good guy, dependable in his work in the office, and a subtle sense of humor outside of the office. It was always good to catch up with him at our annual Amoco "Alumni" golf outing here in Houston. We will miss him. Our sympathy goes out the Hensley family.

Larry was a very kind and giving person to all that he met. I worked with him for many years at Amoco as many of us did. I am blessed to have been a friend of his and know him. We will miss you Larry!
I pray for comfort and peace for all of his family and friends

Jennifer and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Larry's family at this sad time. Larry was a work colleague, a neighbor and, most of all, a true friend. We will miss him very much.

Mike and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Larry! We have many fond memories of him from school. He was such a great guy and so much fun! When I think of him, I can still see his beautiful smile. There was always a little mischief behind that smile. We had some good times together! Our thoughts are with you tonight and our heart is broken.
May God bless and comfort your dear family during this time. Much love to you!

So very sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. Haven’t seen him in years, but I remember what a kind, lovely person he was in high school, as I’m sure he remained. Prayers for peace, comfort and understanding during this very difficult time. May God wrap his family and friends in His loving arms and provide the peace that only He can.

To the Hensley family, my heart goes out to each of you. It was such a shock to hear of Larry's passing and I hope you know that prayers are being lifted for you all as you prepare to lay Larry to rest. I've known Larry since high school and was fortunate enough to continue to see Larry through Amoco/BP days, as I married a fellow Amoco/BP fellow (Lou). Although we did not see each other often, when we did, it was always good to catch up on the latest project he was workin on at his house! Mrs. Hensley, I know you must be proud of your son, and with good reason. You raised a kind and gentle man who was highly thought of by his friends. May you rest in peace, Larry...

Larry was my dear friend and mentor. I sat next to him at work, for the better part of 13 years. Most of what I know about the oilfield, I learned from him. I will miss him always.
